NW Pictures offers complete wall art management services, from design support at the inception of a project, through art sourcing and expert framing, to hand delivery and installation.

With our track record of installations at more than five hundred properties across the UK, we have gained in-depth experience and understanding of the pressures of rollout programmes and opening deadlines faced by designers. We help to minimise these through our seamless delivery and personalised approach which ensures that each picture is hung in its correct place on fit-out day.

Design Support

Any interior design project can be a daunting experience with considerations regarding style, colours and theme. Our design support service is tailored to your individual needs, and can be as simple as refining a designer's brief, to guiding property managers through a comprehensive design process incorporating location and picture sizes, through to imagery and frame mouldings that complement them.

Nature and wildlife imagery lie at the heart of most of our installations and aligns with our support for biophilic design approaches. These aim to integrate nature into architectural and interior design to promote environmental sustainability and foster a sense of wellbeing among property users. Spaces that feature biophilic concepts have been proven to reduce anxiety, enhance mood, improve concentration and creativity, and encourage a sense of vitality and nature-connectedness.

Art Sourcing

Our in-house picture-library is a key resource for imagery with collections from an eclectic mix of more than twenty photographers and artists. The library comprises four thousand diverse images from fine art to breathtaking landscape and wildlife collections, to captures of street and urban life and increasingly, digital imagery.

We also work with other established libraries such as King & McGaw, CAP and Winn Devon, Desenio and the Francis Frith Collection. Our strong trading relationships with these partners gives us extra scope to maximise the choice of images available, which we source at competitive rates.

Where architectural or site-specific images are required, we provide a commissioned photography service at any location across the UK.

Picture Framing

From our studio workshop in the Forest-of-Dean, Gloucestershire, we create picture and wall frames to your specifications. Each image is individually mounted to enhance its presentation, and due to our hand delivery service, glass is used in most of the frames.

In addition to a wide range of solid wood frames, we make extensive use of durable Polcore frame mouldings made primarily from recycled polystyrene in keeping with our sustainable ethos

Delivery & Installation

We understand that the wall art is the icing on the cake of any scheme’s décor, so at the fit-out, we are there personally to give on the ground support for designers and managers, and to supervise any last-minute changes. Providing secure, insured delivery to any location across the UK, our highly experienced skilled team makes sure that all artwork arrives in pristine condition, ready to supply you with the perfect, stress-free installation.
