About us

A Family Affair

NW Pictures was founded by photographer and craftsman Neil Warner in 2015 after his return to the UK from Africa, where he had established himself as a photographer and expedition leader. His experience setting up Nairobi's first image library specialising in African archive photographs proved invaluable when creating a picture library and framing company in Bristol. Soon after, Neil secured projects with Housing 21 which has evolved into a successful relationship over a decade.

In 2017 Neil was joined in the business by his son Lawrence, a craft and framing specialist who is now a director. The company has recently expanded to its new premises in the Forest of Dean with both Neil's son-in-law Jack and daughter Bryony fulfilling the respective roles of studio manager and admin support. With Neil's other son Joshua, a drone photographer, AI technical and Lidar system operator bringing increasingly valuable technology expertise, daughter Siana as a photographer contributor and daughter-in-law Wendy coordinating the company's digital marketing, NW Pictures is truly a family affair.
