In these before and after pictures of a reframed print for a private customer, we replaced the extra thin gold frame with a slightly larger silver one and replaced the mount.
This lends an air of gravitas, and draws the eye to the print, rather than to the frame itself.

A customer brought us these lovely old prints to frame. After consultation with our client, we decided on a black on white double mount to enhance the print. The large gunmetal frame brings the print into clear focus and makes it pop.
